Covering David Bowie huh? Heck, I love a challenge!

Perth's Steve Parkin began this cool project for members of WA's music community to cover David Bowie songs for charity. 

My mate Tony Edwards and I thought we'd go full throttle and delve into the depths of one of Bowie's more technical songs; "Fashion". 

I took to David Bowie's vocals and Robert Fripp's guitar (yes, I can hear you musicians chuckling at this sentence from here). Tony tackled all of the other technical wizardry, from mixing to synth solos. 

The rules of the game say the song is meant to take less than 3 hours to record (HAHA). After 69 recorded tracks, we could have kept going. You'll likely hear some room for more layers in the bridge etc.

Here it is. Feel free to put on your red shoes and dance the blues. 

I must add, this track contains no traces of autotune (a rarity these days).
