It is with a heavy heart that I write this.
In 2014, I had the privilege of meeting a little lady at Ronald McDonald House Perth, who quickly became my hero.
Bonnie was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour (medulloblastoma) in July 2014, but despite this, she shone with such vibrance, humour and grace.
Her family asked if I could shoot portraits of Bonnie before she began chemotherapy, which was also a great privilege.
For two and a half years, Bonnie has fought a fierce fight and it was looking very promising.
However, Bonnie's family contacted me today with the terrible news that her brain tumour is back and she only has a few months left.
Her father, a FIFO worker, is taking time off work to spend as much time with Bonnie and family as possible and they need our help.
An event has been set up, as a fundraiser. It's a two hour bike ride on Sunday the 15th of January: https://www.facebook.com/events/975178439281054/
A Go Fund Me has also been set up to help Bonnie's family during this unthinkable time: https://www.gofundme.com/ufuku9s
If you are unable to provide financial assistance, please send Bonnie and her family as much love as you can xoxoxo
