I was so incredibly stoked to be a finalist in the Fremantle International Portrait Prize.
The prize takes place every three years and attracts thousands of entries from all over the world.
As for my picture (see above), it was taken in June 2015 of a hilarious man called Terry and his dog Jesse, who love exploring the Western Desert together for treasures in their trusty ute. They kindly took me on a day trip out to see "The Terraces" along the Leonora Loop Trails in the outback, near Leonora, Western Australia. A spectacular place, which I'd highly recommend taking the time to see.
A massive congratulations to winner Steve Wise, medical photographer from RPH, for his cracking pic and compelling story to go with it.
