in February 2022, Kate Ferguson was elected as the President for the MEAA (Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance) Media section in Western Australia.

Kate is honoured to be the first woman to be elected in this role in WA.

Kate joins a solid team across Australia, including former ABC Foreign Correspondent Karen Percy, who was elected as the National President for the Media section.
